“Thinking the world too dark” small island Soofe talks about starting the game: giving people the power to move on.

In early November, at the Lucca Comics 2025 Comics Festival in Italy, the famous game producer, Mr. Kojia Soo, came on stage to a special symposium on Death Landslide 2: On the Shore Beach, joined with the movie stars Luca Marinelli and Alissa Jung (Lucy), and shared behind-the-scenes of the production and filming process, including the challenges of taking a long-term view during the epidemic.

However, the island also speaks of the core belief in its own game, “the hope that through the game people will have the strength and happiness to live.”

According to the WCCFtech report, “I’ve been watching and reading movies since I was a kid.” As a child, it was often felt dark and there was no good example for me.”

“It was the film that kept me going. The roles, lines and themes in the film gave me strength and cheered me up. That makes me realize that entertainment gives people the energy to continue to live.”

“So I want to give that power back to someone, and that’s one of the reasons I made the game. It would be the happiest thing for me if a player, after many years, remembered some of my games and thought, “That work had cheered me up and made me want to live.”

The island also mentioned that, despite the variety of entertainment media, the game is extremely immersed and players tend to spend hundreds of hours.

“It’s good if the player relaxes the mood and releases the pressure in the game. But I’d rather pass on some feelings and experiences through the game. It’s like the role relationship that Luca and Alissa interpreted in Death Landslide 2 to resonate with the player, or to get some kind of inspiration from the story, and bring the feeling back to life and make themselves happier.

“Of course, I haven’t reached that level yet, but that’s what I always thought when I created the game.”

Death Landing 2 was launched on June 26 at PS5 alone, and the game is expected to land on the PC platform in 2026, and even on Xbox Series S/X, with the return of the Dead Landing copyright series to Kojima Productions.
